Originally known as the Carrilet, Tren del Ciment was an essential part of the operation of the Asland factory. Later it was also a means of transportation for the workers of Asland.

Located in the Berguedà region. With more than 100 years of history. Today, the Tren del Ciment represents a railway jewel. It is 3.5 kilometers long and has four stations: La Pobla de Lillet, La Pobla Centre, the Artigas Gardens and the Cement Museum in Castellar de n'Hug.

In these stations you will find places of great tourist interest, among which we must highlight the exhibition of transport vehicles in the La Pobla de Lillet station, the Artigas Gardens designed by Antoni Gaudí on the outskirts of La Pobla and the Asland Cement Museum , which is next to the Castellar de N'Hug station.

A round proposal: travel with the Tren del Ciment and also discover the Artigas Gardens and the Cement Museum.

Conditions

  • A free charge will be applied for every 20 paying people. The gratuities will be for the accompanying teachers, being able to exceed 1 gratuity for every 20 paying students to respond to the necessary number of accompanying persons established by the regulations set by the Department of Education.
  • Prices with VAT included.
  • Groups from 20 pax.
  • School age up to 4th ESO included (up to 16 years).
